"Dan Meth is now a rising star. And it's completely from his own energy, creativity, and hard work. He didn't let anyone get in his way. Not his client, not a network, and certainly, not even me. He's in control of his own destiny. "

Dan Meth was born in 1977 in the suburbs of New York City. Within a few hours he was drawing. From then on he obsessively absorbed every form of cartoon he could lay his eyes on.

Meth studied illustration at Syracuse University where he drew a daily comic strip from 1995-1999. In the weeks before graduation, Meth sold a few hundred copies of "Methology", a self-printed collection of all four years of comics.

Since college, Meth has become one of the internet's better known go-to guy for funny viral web cartoons. Whether it's an client commissioned ad or a just a personal short film, his films get attention and traffic. He's been written up in The Daily News, TimeOut NY, Entertainment Weekly and featured on Tech TV, NY1, and Howard Stern.

In 2006, Dan Meth was hired by Fred Seibert to help develop new cartoon, podcast, and TV projects at Frederator Studios. Since then, Meth has executive produced some major animation collaborations as well as directing a short film for Nickelodeon.
